  • The Locomotive Driver Information System (LDIS) is an intelligent management solution for underground mining locomotives. The primary aim was to provide a reliable and robust technology solution to replace the ad hoc pea-whistle signaling systems. LDIS is a proven solution that provides signaling, automatic light switching, proximity warning, true speed measurement and comprehensive data logging for use on diesel and electric mine locomotives.  The system also ensures driver behavior in accordance to code of practice. Significant growth of this product has been experienced within both the gold and platinum mining sectors of South Africa.
  • The 1000CT is the successor to the popular 900CT locomotive controller developed by A&R Engineering. What differentiates the 1000CT from the 900CT is that it provides an integrated locomotive controller and management system for battery powered locomotives. As well as digital, cycle-by-cycle PWM motor control, this system also provides management features such as driver authentication, front driven capability, speed limited handheld remote drive, detailed data logging and wireless uploading,  automated pre-shift driver checklist and configuration management. The 1000CT has received praise where it is installed.
  • The 1000D builds on the success of the 1000CT, providing features that include comprehensive diesel engine monitoring and control. The 1000D provides an identical driver interface to the 1000CT, including remote handheld operation. The appeal of the 1000D is also partially due to the ease in which it can be fitted to existing diesel locomotives with minimal modification.
